International Business Developer

As Business Development Manager, you are responsible for commercializing our unprecedented technologies in the emerging sustainable refining and chemical industry. You develop market entry strategies, screen and develop commercial opportunities. In collaboration with the CEO, you prepare and execute commercial deal making. This dynamic position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to interact at high level within large international corporations. This within a high-tech and growing young company in the European Innovation City of Leuven.

Your Role

  • Develop a deep understanding of the emerging sustainable refining & chemical industry

  • Develop market entry strategies and commercial opportunities in this arena

  • Customer visits and lead generation, project mgt from prospect to closing

  • Embed Customer Resource Management (CRM) within the company

  • Prepare and support the CEO in commercial negotiations / deal making


  • +10 years of experience in B2B, understanding the chemical industry and its value chain

  • ‘Can do’ and ‘entrepreneurial’ mentality, enthusiastic, confident and positive minded

  • Proven track record and professionalism in international business development

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
